Putting family's medical records online

I just stumbled upon a google site that I think is a really good idea. It's called google health . It's in it's beta version (can be a little buggy on my mac), but it's free. I just entered all of LT's vaccine information. I figure that way if I'm traveling, I have all that info online if I ever need it in an emergency. It has loads of features like connecting to pharmacies so you have a record of all your prescriptions etc. When traveling out of the country, I usually take medical records with me, but never really think about it when traveling domestically. It's appealing to me to be able to access it in detail without having to make a phone call to the doctor etc. Also, it has a feature that let's you email your records to another doctor if needed. That kind of speed with transfer of information appeals to me too.

Here's a couple quick tips:
  • After you set up your own profile, there's a link at the bottom left of the page that says "Caring for someone? Add a profile for them". This is how you can track your kid's records in your account.
  • When entering the vaccines, there's a list of them that makes it easy to enter. Once you've built your basic list, there's a link next to each vaccine that says "Edit" where you can enter the first date your child had that vaccine. To add a second, third etc. date, click  "Add Record", then enter the next date. It will create a drop-down menu under that vaccine type with all the dates.
If you decide to tinker with it, let me know if you find any good family friendly features. :)

3 simple words

Last night Logan was playing with me on the couch. He was repeatedly pulling me in for hugs and giggling. He then looked at me with those blue eyes and said "I love you".

He's said it before, but not completely unprompted like that. It was awesome.

I really want to be in LA

Ok, this movie is way too long, but it makes me laugh. It's all about Eric's dancing . . . :)
